Members of the Everett Police Dive Team provide underwater search and recovery services in all areas of Everett’s water ways. The Dive Team is commanded by a Captain, and has 8 members from the Everett Police Department. Team members participate in extensive and focused training programs. The Team specializes in evidence recovery and preservation for criminal cases, as well as hull searches for of visiting vessels. The divers normally utilize dry suits and full-face dive masks, which protect them from the cold water and most hazards that may be present in the environment such as surface debris and ice. The Team Diver is usually exposed to, swift or stormy waters, low or no visibility conditions with submerged obstacles to maneuver. The Members of the Dive Team are: Captain Patrick McAdam, Detective Scott Stallbaum, Officer Michael Doherty, Officer Todd Burton, Officer Gregory DeRosa, Officer Eric Swinford, Officer Michael Woodfood, Detective Michael Lavey,  Officer Jeffery Gilmore, and Officer Jason Leonard.
