
Patrol Operations

Patrol
Operations is the
largest unit within the Everett Police Department. The
responsibilities of Patrol include answering calls for
police & emergency service, serving court orders, and warrants,
conducting initial investigations, and enforcing traffic laws. The
division is in operation 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Patrol
Operations is comprised of
six working platoons, each of which is made up of a Lieutenant who
commands the platoon, and Sergeants (Patrol supervisors) who supervise a group of patrol
officer's on the street.
The City of Everett is divided geographically into a number of
neighborhood sectors. Each patrol officer is assigned to one of these
sectors during their shift and is responsible for answering calls for
police service within it.
