Patrol Division     Patrol is the largest division within the Everett Police Department. The responsibilities of Patrol include:   answering calls for police & emergency service, serving court orders, and warrants, conducting initial investigations, and enforcing traffic laws. The division is in operation 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.     Under the command of a captain, the patrol division is comprised of six working platoons, each of which is made up of a Lieutenant who commands the platoon, and Sergeants who supervise a group of patrol officer's on the street.     The City of Everett is divided geographically into a number of neighborhood sectors. Each patrol officer is assigned to one of these sectors during their shift and is responsible for answering calls for police service within it.
